Had it done a long time ago. Thought I might as well toss it up here! ^~^
Figure I also ought to get around to posting up information about Mimi, since she sort of popped up randomly one day and I haven't given much detail about her. I'll just put it here for now until I get a proper submission up.Full name:
Human*Humans are one of the most abundant races in Aezia, however they almost exclusively live within the territory of the Flame Kingdoms. It is not rare to witness them outside of their homeland, but the xenophobic tendencies of their culture have made it difficult for many to adapt. Background:
Mimi was one of three triplets born within the capitol of the southern fire kingdom (The other being it's twin in the north) to nobility. Both of her parents were Flame Wizards, and though all three of their daughters inherited this gift, Mimi was something else all together. All races technically bore the innate ability to be born with an affinity to any element. Culture and climate often played a large role in one's affinity, however, which led to specific elements becoming almost entirely exclusive to specific races over the years. However, on occasion a person would be born with the ability to channel not one, but two separate elements. Even three or all four was not unheard of, however the latter has never been witnessed in recorded history.
Mimi grew up with a rather tempered attitude. She was not as passionate and outgoing as her fellow humans in most aspects of life. She grew to be kind and gentle, though her passion often broke through whenever she would care a bit too much. She trained to be a Fire Wizard until the age of fourteen, at which point she and her family made a shocking discovery. Though the ability had sat dormant in her since she was born, a split glass of water led Mimi to rather abruptly discover she had the ability to channel the element. Unfortunately, her parents condemned this newfound ability of hers and forbid the young flame wizard from perusing it any further.
Yet with each passing day the idea of learning to channel water called to her. Not soon after, Mimi left her home in the middle of the night in order to set out for the Faelyn capitol of Lunaelyn. She would find a teacher and learn water channeling on her own.
Life in Lunaelyn was not as easy as she thought it would be, however. She had been spoiled by her noble upbringing, and was quite clueless to Faelyn culture. Though they were a gentle and accepting race, she simply lacked a grasp of the cultural nuances that were abundant in their species. To make matters more troublesome, Fire Kingdom currency wasn't accepted in Lunaelyn (Nor anywhere else. The fire kingdoms had long since closed off their borders to all foreigners.), so she was essentially broke. Luckily for her, Flame Wizards were few and far in between in this region of the world. She was able to scrape a living by performing her art on the street. It wasn't long before her exotic abilities drew the attention of other street performers in Lunaelyn - most notably, Nanami Aeisland. After a chance meeting one afternoon, the two quickly became friends and began to intertwine their arts into a spectacular performance. It wasn't until their popularity skyrocketed that Mimi revealed that she could also channel water. Nanami, having recently scaled to the top ranks of the Bubble Mages, immediately took Mimi under her wing as a student. It wasn't traditional Water Channeling, but Mimi wasn't in a position to argue. It wasn't long before the two became the best of friends, and Mimi had a firm grasp on the usage of bubble magic.Likes:
